Get Your Game Face On

It is no secret that my favorite sport is baseball and my favorite team is the Cleveland Indians. Therefore, I like to incorporate both into many of my projects. One of my latest projects was to create minimalist posters for some of the players. Here they are with a little background on each. Enjoy!

Minimalist Baseball_KluberGame Face (Corey Kluber, RHP): Corey Kluber is known for his stoic nature so the nickname Klubot comes out in this poster.

Minimalist Baseball_LindorSay Cheese. (Francisco Lindor, SS): Frankie is always smiling! His nickname for the #PlayersWeekend was “Mr. Smile” so of course, I had to feature that in his poster.

Minimalist Baseball_RamirezYes Way (Jose Ramirez, 3B): Jose has rapidly become one of the most popular players in Cleveland and “Yes Way Jose” has been a popular saying.

Minimalist Baseball_MillerIt’s That Time (Andrew Miller, LHP): If it is late in the game, sometimes as early as the 5th inning, the fans know what time it is…It’s Miller Time! Andrew Miller is one of the most dominating, revolutionary relievers since Mariano Rivera or Dennis Eckersley.

Minimalist Baseball_JacksonGoosebumps (Austin Jackson, OF): Goosebumps is the name of Jackson’s walk-up song by Travis Scott. Jackson earned his poster when I was working on the posters while watching a Tribe game when Jackson hit a go-ahead home run at Tampa Bay.

Minimalist Baseball_KnottStill Dre (Andre Knott, Reporter): Andre Knott is the dugout reporter for SportsTime Ohio. During each telecast, the booth sends it down to Andre in the dugout to get an update. Without delay, Tribe players pepper him with sunflower seeds while he is talking to viewers. Also, you will not find another reporter who enjoys his job more.

Minimalist Baseball_SliderPlay Ball. (Slider, Mascot): Slider has been around for as long as Jacobs Field Progressive Field has been around and has delighted all fans who enter the gates.

Coming soon, are the minimalist posters on my favorite baseball movie.
